Clinical Nurse Ethicist
With 30 years of hospital-based nursing experience, I have developed a career-long passion for bioethics with extensive lived experience as a nurse and educator. My unique skill set incorporates clinical expertise with thoughtful and empathetic ethical experience. I integrate cultural humility, which requires lifelong introspection, to minimize implicit bias and promote personalism in my interactions with clients and providers.  As a result of my passion for nursing ethics, I have obtained my PhD in Nursing Ethics from Duquesne University. I am an assistant professor at Southern Adventist University School of Nursing in addition to doing private consulting work.
